Fees account statement 2026-09
The fees account is the account the Purpose Fees are paid out to and every transfer to a listed recipient is made from. Its statement lists every line the bank booked on it in a locked month, in booking order, so that anyone can check every allocation and every transfer against it, with no professional training. Nothing on it identifies a payer or a person.
How to read the statement
- Each line states what the bank booked: the direction and the amount are the bank's, never netted, and a reversal is a line of its own. The class is what the Association's records make of the line, given by its reconciliation of the payouts or by a steward.
- A line the bank delivers after the month locked is listed from then on, and a line with no class at the lock takes its one class later, effective in the first open month, never by reopening the locked one. Those are the only two ways a published statement changes, and it never loses a line.
- An end-to-end identifier appears only on the Association's own transfers, in its own form: the month whose share the transfer carries, then twelve characters of the recipient's identifier, and a later attempt's number after them. It names the transfer row of that month on its ledger page.
- Nothing identifies a payer or a person: no counterparty, no payment text, no steward and no reason a steward wrote. A personnel cost never appears line by line.
- The statement publishes no balance yet: the sums a statement page shows are sums of its lines, and not a balance of the account.
